Bruce’s Place

Saturday afternoon Cherryl and I took a walk in the area just west of our housing development. A dirt road, and houses on far bigger lots… great places to find birds.

Mother’s Day! Kevin, Dayna, Peter and I made a brunch for Becky and Cherryl. Dayna made crepes, and they were wonderful!

Both mothers got pretty flowers and more… Cherryl’s flowers are now on our front porch.

It just happened that we were at two different friends’ homes, and I liked the beautiful yards. So you get to see a bit of them here:

We have a little mini-ping pong table in the basement. With our grandkids, nothing is played in a boring, ordinary way! Here you may notice two balls in play, an extra person running interference at the net, and one person has to jump on the trampoline while playing. What fun!

Thursday evening was Peter’s school’s K-4 Concert. It was really well done, and a lot of fun. Several kids had solos or readings, and of course Peter’s reading was the best!

That evening our long time buddy Bill stopped by on his cross-country motorcycle trip. Great to see him again! As I too often do, I forgot to take any pictures until he was ready to go! So here is Bill on his way out of the garage:

This week I pretty much finished phase one of my garage upgrade. It has taken a surprising amount of time and energy! I have a short compilation of pictures here:

  1. Enjoyed your pics. Haven’t seen anything for some time. The garage looks good. Even “small” projects can take time to complete when you have other priorities! Take care and have fun!
