Coeur d’ Alene

[ FRUSTRATING DISCLAIMER – I prepared a lot of video footage for today’s blog, our last week in Spokane. But now we are far north, and have almost no internet. So today’s will be brief. Maybe I’ll get to add the cool videos later and this paragraph will disappear. (Along with the claim that they are cool videos) ]

We spent an afternoon with Loren, Karen, Ashlyn and Bryan on beautiful Lake Coeur d’ Alene in Idaho. Cherryl and I got the kayak out – it still floats! It seems a long time since we’ve gotten it wet! The lake is gorgeous and the weather was perfect.

Another afternoon adventure was at Slavern Conservation area next to our Kid’s place. A little birding, and a lot of great scenery!

A cute video of the grandkids at a trampoline park was to go here, and shots of Spokane from the air as Loren took me for a nice tour in a Cirrus. Maybe they will miraculously show up later…

We had a great time with the family in Spokane, and so it is obviously with some sadness that we move on. But there is also some excited anticipation, since we leave from here to head up the Alaska Highway and spend some serious time in Alaska!

  1. Beautiful shots! Love living vicariously through you and Cheryl! I’m sure the videos will be cool, too. 🙂
